So, about a week ago, I was just another person, doing whatever in front of my computer screen. My mom as always, was tumblr-ing away, or looking stuff up, and so she asked me; "Are you going to watch Gabe Bondoc, next week?" and so it crossed my mind, like "f yes, I am going to watch Gabe Bondoc next week. I’ll line up if I have to."

The day finally came, three days ago, and I was once again given an opportunity to line up, at 12, while the performance started at 9:30. So, I ended up leaving at around 1, and getting there around 2:30. Both myself, and Jensli, and not to mention Andrew each waited up-close, next to the stage for an upwards of about 7 hours, on our feet, in the hot, hot crowd for gabe bondoc. .. i'm sorry, "the performances of the Filipino making waves festival." i mean, they were okay. We were given the opportunity to jam out to the likes of "Crewzing", "Santa Guerilla", and "The Belladivas". Not to say that they weren't good, but its just.. well, we all know why everyone was there. Whether you were there for GLP, just Passion, just Leejay, or just [why i was there,] Gabe Bondoc, you weren't there to hear a bunch of other people. You just wanted to see Gabe, damnit!

"OMG, I LOVE YOU GABE BONDOC's" and "AHHHHHHHHHH!'s" roared throughout the audience, [I screamed both]. I realized that it just wasn't Gabe Bondoc up there. It was GLP, and they were doing. Their fucking. Thing. They rocked the stage so hard, that I could hardly hear them over the thousands of screaming girls, and the occasional guy, and that’s saying a lot, because I was in the freakin’ front. Yes, it was a ground shattering event for me, Jensli and Andrew. I mean, we were freaking 15 feet away from GLP. And if it wasn’t for those damn stairs, we’d be 5 feet away from GLP. So we screamed our asses off that night, left, because we knew we couldn’t get autographs because of the aforementioned thousands of screaming fans, and we went home with the warmness of “omg, I saw Gabe Bondoc in real life, and not just a computer screen!”

Little did we know, the next day would be even more ground-breaking. We all thought about it, and we decided that it was just sheer destiny. Long story short, if Ryan didn’t ask me to go downtown that day, if Andrew didn’t decide to go home and change, if Jensli didn’t tell Andrew to take the downstairs route, and if I didn’t give Andrew my phone to contact us, WE WOULD’VE MISSED GABE BONDOC IN THE EATON’S CENTRE’S GAP. He was so. Je ne c'est quoi. He actually spent time on us, unlike the concert, where I’m guessing it would’ve been “Oh, autograph? Here you go. Bye!”

Bottom line is, we actually fucking met Gabe Bondoc in person, had a 15 minute chat with him, got his autograph, and shook his hand.

And now you know how much I love gabe bondoc.
